No Wildcards please

Hello All,

Pete from Detroit here with my first post. I have a Radio Shack Pro 96, and am trying to listen to the local police and fire, ONLY. I used the copy of Win 96 that i bought to program the sites for my location, and all of the talkgroups that I want.
Unfortunately I am getting a bunch of traffic from other agencies on one of the frequencies. I believe these are the wildcard scans. Does anyone know how to turn these off, while keeping the frequency?

If I remember correctly, pressing the function key and then 5 will toggle between an "open" and "closed" setting for the system. Open is when you here all talkgroups and closed is when you hear only those you have programmed. You may have to be stopped on that system when you press those keys. If you have a manual you may look for open and closed system settings for more info.
