The TRX-1 recorded 47 transmissions on this system and found 14 talkgroups. I heard Site 1 all over the area. Site 2 only when near Chambers or at Waterside.

SITE 1 FREQS: 937.4375 (CC's 1 & 3), 937.8875 (CC's 1, 5 & 9)
Radio ID's at this site were 700xxx, 710xxx & 720xxx
810001 (2) -
810002 (3) -
810003 (2) - "switch your radio over" This TG was where color codes 9 & 3 were used
810004 (5) - "discharge, discharge" "reset sequence 25 in the back reach"
810005 (4) -
810016 (2) -
810034 (1) - "come on and get'cha one"
860001 (1) -
860003 (1) - color code 5 in just this instance
860005 (2) - "vessel going out, will be working" (at stated time) "will deliver transmission filters"
860019 (9) - "pulley on D2" lots of joking around
860021 (2) -

SITE 2 FREQS: 939.425 (CC 2) & 938.4875 (CC's 2 & 12)
Radio ID's using this site were 722xxx and 733xxx. The only 733xxx ID found was when 938.4875 used Color Code 12 instead of 2.

822049 (3) - color code 12 used on just one of 3 transmissions on 938.4875
822050 (5) - checking stacks for good/bad containers ... how long it takes to go to bathroom

In cleaning up my codeplug for vacation next week, I found that all the freqs in the VIT ConnectPlus trunk, were previously listed for the Motorola Type II trunk for NNMT & PMT ID 7925. Given the licensing in Portsmouth, it could be that this trunk will be covering PMT, VIG and CIMT when it comes online. There are plenty freqs left to recycle, that's for sure. The only question now is whether 7925 has completely gone bye-bye.

2 Licenses to watch

WPYW991 is supposed to be conventional 800. Emissions normal FM or DMR seem available. Purpose dock coordination and security. Will try to check this out while I'm exploring down there.

WPYW991 (VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL TERMINALS INC) FCC Callsign Details

WPOX557 appears to be a large DMR trunk that contains all the freqs from the VIT SmartNet systems (ID 7925) Looks like it's licensed for PMT, VIG and NNMT with most or all freqs authorized for each location. I'm not sure how site #'s were determined for the VIT ConnectPlus system currently in the database, but this license includes all its frequencies, as well as those of the old

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?fccCallsign=WPOX557

Interesting that all of this separates NIT from PMT, VIG and NNMT. Clearly the NIT LTR system is plenty busy, as is the VIT Connect+. WPXO557 looks like a way to migrate all the Portsmouth/Newport News stuff into one DMR system, and I have to wonder if WPYW991 may be the start of migrating NIT from its LTR.

But anyway, just FYI from shopping through the FCC database. If it's rainy on my vacation, this might end up being what I have to focus on.
