seems crazy that they would build their own TRS when the State TRS and FirstNet are both in play

FirstNet is not a substitute for a good LMR system, and the state system wouldn't provide the channel capacity or level of in-building coverage required for day to day operations by local agencies.

i’m hearing a lot of towns in ct are switching to there state system.for day to day ops suffield. i’m hearing 4 to 5 years i don’t see how because so many hills in that town.
