Northumberland County move to DMR

Looks like Trent Hills Fire and Public Works are listed as Northumberland County. I checked some other areas in the county. It looks like same for many. Has also changed to DMR marker

Not sure if Cramahe will change or if they will be sharing the same frequency pair. I added them as DMR 8, as that is how they have been ID'ing the channel since moving to DMR. There has been no licence change for them, yet.

mciupa, can we change the title of this thread to Northumberland County Move to DMR or something similar, if it is ok with randyf? Better to follow for updates. Just a thought.

Just another quick note, a number of licences for Quinte West, Peterborough County and Kawartha Lakes have been updated, linking one of their existing channels or adding a new channel pair to link with the Northumberland County DMR Simulcast channel link. Those licences were updated with a service activation date of 2022-04-01.

A possible new Quinte West channel, connecting to Northumberland County's DMR SIM channel:
153.2900 / 158.3400 Quinte West link to DMR SIM.

7K6 is a big clue, but he probably used something (scanner, SDR) that reported DMR.

Based on the the council meeting minutes stating a DMR roll out and the 7K6 marker was icing on cake.

So far, Port Hope, Cobourg, Cramahe, and Hamilton Township Roads are on county frequencies in DMR. They are the only ones transmitting in DMR format but that will soon change. A 300 ft tower is coming down in the county forest on County Road 45.
Demolition is slated for spring or early summer.

Do you think a DMR Conventional Network system should be created for your findings in post# 6?

I was thinking about doing that, but I thought, it would be best if we wait till the other DMR repeater's come up first. The current ones are already in the database, but we could look at a system setup, when more of the new ones get changed over or activated.

Right now, our info is based on notes from changed/new licences. I have my TRX-2 setup as one system and testing it out, and waiting for the other repeaters to pop up. But, the idea of a system setup is great in this case.

Just don't want to confuse the 2 between input and output.
