I just started my feed for NW Indiana Fire and some Illinios fire.
I know it's a lot, so if anyone has any suggestions and/or anything specific they would like to hear, let me know.
This is a work in progress, I would like to make this permanent, but streaming EVERY fire department in NW Indiana could get a little confusing to some listeners.

My feed can be found in the Lake county, Indiana feed. I think this is it: http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/?ctid=737

I am using a Pro-2055, so unfortunately I can not stream ISP, Maybe Santa will bring me a digital scanner this year:lol:

I'm still open to suggestions on what people want to hear.

Streaming a scanner is all new to me, so bear with me, Thanks.

Thanks, the crown point feed is someone else, although I do have crown point fire in my feed, as for the aircraft bleed over, ever since I mounted my discone I've had that problem, haven't had the time or knowledge to figure that one out.
Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the link. Can you please add my Lowell pd? Its my home town and I still have family there. Too bad they lost state champ football. Also, did Lake County dispatch change dispatch frequencies from 154.815?

Thanks,

Greg

I think I can add Lowell, after all I live here. Yea, it's a shame Lowell lost, but it was still a great season, fire department went out to escort them back into town.

Keep coming with the suggestions. Having all these fire departments streaming all at once might be a bit overwhelming for some. Not to mention how much we are missing with all the traffic overlapping. If I get enough requests I might just start with my town (Lowell) and all the communities surrounding me. i.e Lake county sheriff, Cedar Lake, Saint John, maybe Hebron.
Let me know what everyone thinks.

Ugh, they do that there too? Not to long ago they came cruising through my town with the girls volleyball team at 10:30 PM after a win, full lights and sirens with about 3 firetrucks, squads, and cop cars. I wasn't very happy about it as my kids were in bed. I thought the town was on fire or something only to find out what it was.Wonder if I did that how well it would go over  Sorry to get even further off topic

I went ahead and put in a request to change my feed to the list in my last post.

Scannerfreak, they do this every year, I guess it's a good show of community spirit, but they don't seem to do it for anybody else, we've had soldiers that came home from the war I felt better deserved something like this, Oh well, just my opinion.
