The DB only lists systems that are using NXDN digital in the mode columb as being NEXEDGE. However, I know for a fact that certain systems are Icom based systems. The Icom IDAS and Kenwood NEXEDGE do not use the same trunking format, and will not work together, except in 6.25 CAI only. This could confuse someone who may purchase a Kenwood radio, in hopes to program it to receive only their local NXDN trunked system, only to find out later its an Icom system, and they bought the wrong radio.
Can we submit a system as being IDAS or NEXEDGE, and have that reflected in the DB?
