NYPD Dispatch: Other word for complainant?

Sometimes I hear, "CB" or "CV" or some other acronym that I believe refers to the caller/complainant. What does it stand for?

Example:
"CV states that five males are outside the bar...."

Here in SC they use Bravo Mike and Bravo Foxtrot, Whiskey Mike and Whiskey Foxtrot to identify callers and perps. I imagine a PC system in New York doesn't differentiate races so the CB / CV identifiers. When I saw it, I'm guessing "Complainant Boy, for male and Complainant V***** for female. Maybe correct, probably not...

CV 100% means complainant/victim.
