FYI I Just Hear an Announcement on the scanner that Oak Ridge is making the switch to the new radio system at 1300 today

And they are Encrypted including Fire (At least Fire 5) I’ll listen more

Apparently they did not do like ACSO leaving their main dispatch (ops1) open. More like RCSO but this seems to be strapped so far like ACSO did on side channels. Their jurisdiction is in both Anderson and Roane. They have a police sergeant over communications for fire & police, I had heard. Saw 8514 keep popping up phase I encrypted guessing Police dispatch. Is fire dispatch encrypted also? Oak ridge fire 5 keeps popping up encrypted. *UPDATE* Messaged Oak ridge fire on Facebook they said their new channels are encrypted
