Does anyone happen to know if Jackson, Lakewood, Toms River, Brick, Point Pleasant and Pt Pleasant Beach FDs plan on moving over to the new Ocean County 700mhz P25 system? Or perhaps building out their own new systems?

Toms River is going to buildout their own 700 MHz system,Jackson’s own system is already tied into the county core for PD migration. All other towns mentioned are upgrading their radios for interoperability on the new system.
Ocean County held a communications meeting for the new system 4 years ago for all municipalities that I attended with my chief,the link below lists most of the town’s plans:

I’m seeing a bunch of Jackson radios popping up on Fire Operations 4 today and I’ve heard 5401 sign on for a EMS call.
Jackson officially moved over 1400hours on 06-09-2021. Toms River is building its own system.
