I recently visited family and friends back in AC and brought my BCD325P2 with DMR upgrade. I haven't had the 325P2 for long, so I don't have a good grasp of using it yet (I've always had Radio Shacks). My friend works at Ocean and uses Motorola XPR 6580 or XPR 7580e, so we know they are DMR in the 800/900 MHz range. I did a custom search in that range while parked at Ocean's parking garage and got a couple of hits. 854.8125 had some traffic, but my friend did not think it was Ocean, so it was possibly the Hard Rock. 855.3375 also had traffic. We heard security and housekeeping on it, but they seemed to talk over one another. My friend confirmed it as Ocean, since he knew the locations and people they were talking about. I believe I saw "Cap" on the scanner, so it might be a Motorola Capacity Plus system. I didn't get the LCN, color code, or anything else about it, since I'm still trying to learn how to navigate that scanner and DMR systems. I wish I could provide more, but that's the best I have for now. If someone has some tips on how to get that info from a 325P2, I can try it the next time I go back.
