According to a rerader's comment, and I don't know how much of a reliable source this person is, Ocean Twp. will only be taking 911 calls for Eatontown. Eatontown will dispatch their own Police, Fire and EMS. So, the only change that would affect us would be that Eatontown Fire dispatch would switch from County Fire 1 (154.4300 PL151.4) to Eatontown Fire/EMS (153.920 DPL743).

I am now hearing Eatontown Fire being dispatched by their own PD, but still over Mon Fire 1. Not sure if this is just temporary, while they reprogram pagers?

Ditto here. Just heard the PD page out a smell of smoke in a store on Monmouth Fire 1 at 1805 hours.

My mistake, guys. I just assumed they'd go back to local for dispatch.

EFD will be switching back to local. I believe that EPD is dispatching EFD on MF1 temporarily until EFD's pagers come in. They needed to order special pagers with a different frequency spread for the minitor 5's to work on 153.920. 153.920 has a birdie or is a spur frequency in the regular 150-159 pagers.
