All of ODNR is supposed to be using MARCS. But, for some reason, there are still a few hold-outs. Unknown why. Check the 151.**** range.

99.9 % of ODNR here in belmont are on the marcs system and encrypted. For some reason they think that ALL their coms are a big secret.

Only the enforcement units are encrypted. On occassion, though, you'll hear a unit calling Columbus and say 'secure' when they are actually in the clear. go figure. guess they can't tell the difference between secure & in the clear.

Down here in southwestern Ohio the campground check in stations at the various
state parks are still using 151.2800 ( park TAC simplex). Keep an ear on that one.

Pymatuning State Park on the Ohio side complains that they can't use MARCS that they have crappy coverage. Yet, they have a tower about 7 miles away. I have never had any issues picking up stuff on the site that would cover Pymatuning State Park. Go figure.

That's correct. They would also possibly be heard on the Ashtabula site, since Geneva is also in Region 10
