Officer stuck and killed on I-294 - Chicago-Land

I heard this incident tonight listening to my Unication G5 Pager. The Tollway HELP Truck driver saw it happen live and screamed 10-18!! (urgent) for everyone to come help. Later, I heard units talking about going to the officer's home to notify people. It didn't sound good. Unfortunately the worst happened. They were able to recover an SD card from one of the drivers or witnesses DASH CAM to review. Sad to hear this happened again. RIP.

Prayers to the officer's family and friends. Working in traffic is one of the greatest dangers in law enforcement, especially with the increase in inattentive drivers.
