They were once the 2900 series. What are they in this present time? I want to say I remember them becoming the 7900 series, but not sure. Anyone out here with that info?

O'Hare is not "District 76'. Chicago is divided into 77 "community areas" mostly for statistical purposes and often mistakenly called "neighborhoods" by many. O'Hare is number 76. That has nothing to do with CPD beat numbers.

All O'Hare and Midway detail units are in the 7200's.

Hi there all in Chicago area...Chicago13 is correct on PD detail units. I flew back from Hawaii last week, was standing next to an officer, and heard dispatch call "7221", which he was. Then, I powered up my BCD346XT, with Chicago O'Hare programmed in this week, and heard multiple times, 7200 units dispatched on the trunked side for baggage check, canine officer request, etc..
