Does anyone have a searchable database for the Marcs TGID codes. I sometimes see a new, unrecognized TGID code. I was looking for a search routine, that i could enter the code and retrieve the user, I have tried several databases, but they don not seem to have this ability, or i can't find the right tab to click on. Any help would be appreciated.

All web browsers should have some type of "Find" feature built in that can be used to search for talkgroups by ID. This feature should be easy to find once you expand the menu options. If you are using a computer, the shortcut would be Ctrl + F.

Bear in mind that, if you are scanning the system in ID Search mode (Uniden) or using a wildcard (GRE/Whistler object oriented scanners), you may run across one or more talkgroups that are not in the database here on RadioReference. If that is the case, then searching the talkgroups on the system's database page will not give you a user or text tag description. The only way to identify it would be listening to the TGID and trying to see if locations mentioned, or unit numbers in use, match those found on other talkgroups.

Thanks for the great info. I simply did not find the right page to search.
