Knew Mike personally. Friends when I lived in Cleveland, OH. Corresponded from Georgia for the last 19 years.
The scanning community has lost a true friend. RIP Mikey. You will be missed.

Rest in peace Mike. I met Mike back when he used to run the ohioscan web site and stayed in touch ever since. A tremendous loss to the scanning community.

Oh darn. Such a great contribution from him over so many years.
Hope you find the ultimate featured scanner on the other side....

So sad to hear this. Mike's web site helped get me started with listening to air and milcom frequencies, which in turn helped guide me into my ATC career. Very influential. Rest in peace, Mike.

I am deeply saddend to hear of Mike's passing. I have exchanged information with him for many years. His knowledge of local milair was unsurpassed. He will be sorely missed among our ranks, but long remembered.
