No why? Are you?

When I used to live on the coast of california I often wondered what if any frequencies those offshore platforms used. Was a long time ago, didn't have a scanner than sadly.

They use 900 MHz. It seems all the 900 XTS2500’s I own were used on oil drilling rigs, & have the “FM APPROVED” label on the bottom.

Ah nice so similar to Edison. I’d love to grab some of those myself for 460 MHz. Lots of eBay sellers that unlock the FPP and encryption key codes for you. 🏴‍☠️
