I have a Old RCI-2950, Board # EPT295010Z, was working fine, one day it had really low modulation and power output.
I resoldered most of the board thinking it was a loose connection, its still the same.
I thought maybe one of the finals had blown so I replace them.
One C2166 and Two C2312's
Still has the same problem, Mic is good checked it on another radio.
The most I can get for power out is about 6 to 7 watts on am, on SSB alittle higher.
I never ran the power full bore, always like low key with swing.
I'm guessing something went wrong with the audio side, just don't know what to look for and don't want to test everything in the radio. lol
I know the radio would swing over 20watts with 80-90% MOD.
