Anyone active with either MOTOTRBO or P25 in the Omaha area?
Found the 442.650 TRBO repeater and 146.715 P25 repeater listed.
Trying to decide if I want to jump into the digital TX age.

The Omaha DMR/MotoTRBO has excellent coverage. It is linked to the Motorola Amateur Radio Club DMR network which has over 300 repeaters around the world.

Take a look at our website: DMR-MARC Network

I highly encourage you to give DMR a shot. Find a "ham-friendly" Motorola dealer who will give you a significant discount on the radio.

I use both. The P25 works good, good coverage but has little activity.

The DMR works good. The local talkgroups is currently linked to Chicago and Michigan. There is also a worldwide and north America talkgoups are used. I can usually find someone on DMR.

Thanks for the replies.
TRBO sounds like the way to go. Time to start saving those pennies!
