Like the Toronto/York PD zone maps, does anyone have the actual boundaries of the OPP Zone 1 detachments? I'm looking at the Google Maps API and it allows for filled-in boundary boxes... looking at making a map in Google Maps...

There's this, but no road names for the lesser-known boundaries that aren't on the major highways. http://www.opp.ca/Organization/TrafficSafety/opp_000446.html

Quite often the municipal/region/county boundaries are the same as the patrol districts.
From what I know:
Port Credit covers the provincial highways as follows
403 till Dundas
401's east boundary is either Renforth or the 427, I dont know the western boundary, maybe Guelph Line.
Toronto is pretty simple, the city boundary.
Aurora I think covers York
Wellington covers everything in the county save Guelph city.
Bruce Peninsula covers pretty much everything wiarton north.
Grey Co covers the county save Owen Sound Hanover & West Grey (Hwy 6).
Burlington covers the 403 from Dundas,
the QEW from Ford Drive?
the western boundaries for the 403 are prob Brant Co.

The best way to figure out is listen or luck out & know a OPP officer.

Toronto: Hwy 401 from 427 to Port Union
Whitby: Hwy 401 from Port Union to 35/115
Aurora: Hwy 404, 407, and Hwy 400 up to Barrie
Port Credit: Hwy QEW, 403, 401 from Guelph Line to Hwy 427

.... that's as far as I can tell.

There's an amazingly good map at OPP GHQ in the Museum that has all boundaries for all of Ontario. It's got very good detail and everything. I doubt they have copies for sale - I've never asked.

I suppose you could take some pictures though :)

That's what I was thinking :)

Wanna go for a drive? LoL

The majority of detachment boundaries (at least around here) follow political boundaries so they aren't that hard to figure out. But, it wouldn't hurt to have a real map.

Whitby Detachment actually goes beyond the 35/115 to the east, they cover into newtonville but stop before port hope. My listening leaves me to say around the newtonville road and newtonville service stations is the boundary with the Coburg detachment.

5K - Whitby typically handles calls as far as the Newtonville service stations but wil team with Coburg if needed

The line is the Durham/Clarington and Northumberland border and runs to north Manvers township then across to the Durham/Clarington and Kawartha Lakes border.
