OPP TAC

Just listening to Bell Fleetnet Zone 1 and they have all changed to TAC channels. Are they upgrading or is something else up ?

Hello All...so... I'm at home (Wiarton Ontario Canada) with OPP ears on, Dispatcher calls out, All Units, Ops Channel being tested, please change to TAC 1, *what ever zones there in* so I did this... not missing a beat... I find out they're doing radio checks.... on all OPS 1 - 30, its been about 2 hrs now, anyone in the Ontario know why? when will they go back to OPS?

*(BCD536HP)* is my toy...
I have OPP zones 1,2,3,4 on my FAVORITES list, not the OPP TAC ... I'm leaving for a little trip tonight, (Zone 1 OPP) don't really want a TAC list on my fav list...
Should I just make a OPP Tac list, just for a back up?

I'm curious if Wellington Co is patched as well.

I have Brantford, Toranna, Guelph, and Mississauga and Charlton being recorded on my Home Patrol to see the patches in each area.

Halton EMS ran on the region's P25 system until 22:58 last night as well, T/G 1600.

This usually happens if they are doing maintenance on the system somewhere... nothing unusual.

Yes, it was maintenance 5E 1OPS41 & 6T 1OPS14 were moved to TAC8 & TAC1 for the 2 hour maintenance window. They restored shortly after 10pm last night.
