Orange 911 fire disp. & pine bush ambulance question

Hey guys I'm looking for sum frequancys is there a VHF freq for orange 911 fire dispatch or r thy all UHF? Also does anyone know pine bush ambulance corp radio frequency? Thanks!

Orange County 911 - 154.205 pl 123.0, Countywide FD Dispatch.

Pine Bush EMS - 157.45 PL 136.5, Countywide EMS Dispatch, Response on 153.86 pl 77.0

thanks soo much but im very new to this stuff whats the pl mean is there a freq just like 157.450(thts orange county ems paging) i dont understand what the pl is

The PL (Private Line) or CG (Channel Guard), is a number to put into your scanner after the frequency if you have two (2) different agencies on the same frequency, only to hear the agency you want to hear. Please go to top of the RR page, click on Wiki. When you asset it, in the search box on the left side of the page put in CTCSS.

I'm sorry for keep on asking questions haha but ok I have a standard radio shack pro-135, so how would I insert pine bush ambulance in it, I'm sorry for annoying u

Just put the frequencies in the scanner without the PL, and you should be fine.

I don't believe the PRO-135 is capable of PL so just enter the frequency and you are all set.

If a scanner has PL capability, it is useful if you want to hear only the desired system and block other signals but it is not necessary for ordinary monitoring.
