Orange County Fire 36 Control

I read that a new frequency was assigned of 453.825. Does anyone know what it's for. Thanks.

i see no frequency assignment for orange county. i see the montgomery fire district has an assignment under call sign WPLE879.

It was listed on NF2G website, as follows.

While nf2g's site is pretty good, it's not perfect.

The Montgomery Fire District uses 453.825R (167.9) for a crossband link to:

a) County Fire channel 1 ("36-Control") or

b) County Fire channel 2 ("truck-to-truck")

depending on what mode the repeater is in.
