Original BC246T setup files.

Hi All..I was just wondering if anyone would have the original files that come with this BC246T scanner when first turning it on that you could send or post somewhere? I thought that I had the original ones but when looking at it all the systems are setup to use quick key 9 with no group keys setup. I can't remember if this is how it is programmed? I wanted the original .mem files if you got them. Or where I might go to get them? I checked Unidens website also but they are not there and did a search here..Thanks..Keithmj

They are all included when you install UASD. The factory files all were set up to use SQK 9 and no group keys.

I don't remember ever seeing the original preprogrammed systems in .mem format. I think I tried once to export them to MEM but Arc246 couldn't read those systems for some reason.

Thanks..The only USAD that I have is for the BCT15, that is if you are talking about the software. I have been using ARC246 with my BC246T scanner.. But I did save the file but I thought that I messed it up somehow..Keithmj..

Hi..My ARC246 software saves the system files to .mem format. What program opens .c24? I have never heard of it. I use the ARC246 and the ScanControl and now the ARC246beta...Cheers..Keithmj

.c24 is a ARc246 clone file, ARC246 comes with a free clone utility and the 'out of the box' clone file is already included with ARC246 ( is installed in data folder).

Also make sure to backup the systems stored in the BC246 using ARC246 because restoring a clone file will delete all custom data stored in the scanner.

Hi Butel..I didn't even know that was there. I usually just use the shortcuts placed on the desktop. It is a nice little program and I have played with it a little bit and transferred and saved with it. I also went ahead and bought the BC246T_UASD software. I like that it shows the scanner instead of just a window. I thank everyone for the info they gave..Cheers..Keithmj
