Oshawa Town Center Security & Pickering Town Center Security

Have any of you noticed that both the Oshawa Center and Pickering town center security channels have gone silent? Not even digital noise.. just silent.. I checked TAFL and no new frequencies.

Anyone else notice this or did they turn down the power big time?

Maybe they jumped ship and joined an NXDN or MotoTRBO Connect Plus network? Although I don't think that would likely give them the in building coverage they would need. Maybe take a stroll thru and see what radios they are carrying around.

If i had to guess i would say it is probably a simplex as they do not have any other channels licensed to them from IC. Often places will have repeater mode, simplex mode in the same radio as a third channel type thing.
