I was recently asked by a friend, if there was a way to program a BCD536HP, with Sentinel, with information from RR. I went ahead and launched Sentinel in my PC to confirm my answer to him, there's only the USA and Canada, even though, RR has info for a good amount of countries.
Why is this?
For his country of interest, Panama, there are frequencies listed among other info, that could help someone get started in gathering more and help contribute to the database, but Sentinel does not have this info.
I realize that scanners sold overseas may not necessarily use the same bandplan used in North America for other countries, but I also believe this could be fixed in the software and give the option to the user to pick and choose.
How hard can it be for Uniden to include this in Sentinel?
