For some reason i'm hearing traffic on the DPS freq during the awful intermod . But it's a female that i'm hearing . Is it uncommon to hear bleed over ? . I can't even hear DPS when this awful noise start's so i'm having to lock out DPS .

i'll correct what i mean ...it's birdies but it only last's sometimes 1 sec or up to 10 min's

I haven't noticed that listening to the DPS in Phoenix. Maybe your radio is getting overloaded by nearby strong signals.

I listen to DPS Central and East all the time and never noticed that either....

i've listened in other area's of town with both of my hand held's and still hear the same noise . it's like someone is using the input side of the relay and nothing . i've had to lock out dps because of the noise and now i'm hearing it on pinal co side .
