Yikes.. I was in the area this AM. Flew into Ontario via YOW last night and doing a southern ON tour all this week/part of next.

I promise, I didn't mean to bring the nasty stuff east with me.

Everyone stay safe!

Sure glad I didn't take that bike ride down the Western Parkway along the
river which by timing would have landed me in the middle of all of this. But
checking the weather report not long before this unfolded, plus it being a bit
on the hot side, plus the subtle warning of cool breezes blowing in shortly
beforehand, convinced me to stay home.

Police were ceratinly busy but I didn't really miss hearing them, much as
activty of Ottawa Fire and EMS was quite enough. Hydro Ottawa were
interesting to hear, and they're still working on things. Power was out here for
about 5 hours, good thing for battery-powered scanners (and big batteries).

Somebody elsewhere was asking about BluesFest activty. Funny how this
comes up at the end of, or after the event, if ever.

Dave
