Does anyone know the frequency or frequencies of the Outdoor Adventures campground security/maintenence in Davison, MI? By looking at the antenna it seems like it should be in the 400mhz.

457.5875, with a DPL of 612, as of a few years ago when I worked for the resort. That frequency should be good at all five parks in their system as well.
The only other system is that they used to lease space on a trunked 800MHz system through Anderson Radio in Bay City. This was used to talk park-to-park at the four northern sites (Standish, Sterling, Omer and West Branch). That used to be used for everything, but they got away from the 800MHz due to cost.

Well, for what the memberships are going for these days, you should make sure you take the time to enjoy all of your parks.
I've worked/stayed at all of them, and they each kind of attract their own crowds.
Lakeshore (Davison) and Saginaw Bay (Standish) are both about the same when it comes to being busy/crowded, but have a pretty good mix of people (older folks and younger).
Rifle River (Sterling) is definitely a much younger crowd once canoeing season starts up, lots of parties, well into the night.
Wilderness (Omer) was mostly an older crowd, and pretty quiet. Lake of the North in West Branch was about the same, but very creepy quiet at night.
If you're planning on going to any of them during a holiday period, make your reservation as soon as you possibly can.
I sold my membership about a year ago (wife and I separated, wasn't using it due to time constraints, and was sick of paying dues every month), but I thoroughly enjoyed my time there as a member. Working for them was pretty good too.
Well I got back from my camping trip. Didn't hear any radio traffic the first two days even though I was watching them talk on the radios. The third day I finally heard a little bit of radio traffic on that freq. Any idea if they might be using more than one frequency? Is it repeatered or simplex?? Thanks.
Again, my intel is a few years out of date, so I suppose it's possible that they could have updated and added a few channels. When I was there, they only had the one simplex frequency that was used by everyone (security, maintenance, housekeeping, etc).
They were using two channel, UHF Radius P-1225s at the time. That frequency may have been part of a pool through Anderson Radio, maybe from their rental fleet. If you can find a database listing for them, that might give you some starting points.

Thank you again, I will try looking up/researching Anderson Radio. I have not been around the employees enough to be able to listen to the communications to try and tell if they are using a repeater or just simplex. I am thinking that they are still simplex. I will let you know what I find.
Well I finally found it...been here 2 days searching and searching. Apparently they now have a repeater on 452.925 mhz. Pl tone 136.5 It has been very interesting listening to the activity.
