Please point me to a site that sells an outdoor antenna that is tuned close to 406 MHz.

Thanks for any help.

Whoops, I should have been more specific. I am looking for a website of a company that any of you have bought from that has great products, fair prices, good selection, and an outdoor antenna for scanner radios tuned to around 406 mHz.

These are the ones I use. You will more than likely need to set up an account (but that should be much easier than setting up an account with an HVAC supplier if you're not an air conditioner contractor). Be careful and do your due diligence, as you have a tremendous amount of variety possible. I don't have an opinion on which antenna to use, and the price continuum can span anywhere between two to four digits, but just about all of the professional grade antennas can be had through these distributors.

We need a little more information. The gov band is usually 403 to 430 and some companies do make antennas for that range.

Comtelco has '406' range antennas. Did you want the omni 'base' style? Or? I can drop ship.
