been hearing a female,consistantly for about 2 weeks at all times of day from morning til evening.

Is the PSP doing a simulcast in espanol?

anyone else catch this?

Not sure but possible. PSP TAC-2 is not in the public safety band. 151.490 is in the business/industrial band.

It's probably a business, since that is a shared frequency. Down here along the Maryland border I hear a brick and block company out of Hagerstown MD on 151.490 regularly. I would check out the RR database and see if there is anything else in your area licensed on that frequency.

i see,ive got to get more farmilliar with the FCC DB,,
maks sense,at least now i know,,hell,,i was about to
bust out RosettaStone to bone up on my spanish,,

thanks mates,,now i can delete that pesky woman from

Here in Michigan, it's definitley a public safety channel. there are quite a few cities , corrections facilities and fires depts. on this channel here.
