I have been seeing the following in my logs:
103 on 10164
106 on 10164
107 on 10165
108 on 10165
109 on 10163
110 on 10163
111 on 10163
Whatever it was.. Now it's disappeared. Said P25 NAC 943 but no site id, weird..I’m getting something on 153.613, the difference is most likely my uncalibrated SDR dongle

And definitely stronger than Truce's CC.
"I always feel like somebody's watching me"
Like it was parked near my house..

153.605 is Kennett school district, but I doubt they’re a p25 system. Wierd!

I would say so, judging by the fact that the NAC and entire adjacent site list both match Truce exactly.I must have been getting 153.6125 Truce's voice freq..

wouldn't think a voice ch would have adj site info, but not it's own, interesting.I would say so, judging by the fact that the NAC and entire adjacent site list both match Truce exactly.
Yes, PSP are using vehicular repeaters by default on their portable radios. Are they using Vehicle Repeaters for this system at all? Maybe there was one driving past his house?

It must be some data trans. it's going on even when there's no voice traffic..wouldn't think a voice ch would have adj site info, but not it's own, interesting.
That's exactly what the voice channels broadcast; their NAC as well as the adjacent site(s) control channels. The radios already know which site they were monitoring if they're tuned to the voice channel, so there's no need to broadcast that info. The adjacent site info is broadcast on the voice channel so that the radio can switch to one of those sites quickly if necessary (i.e. the voice transmission drops out and the radio can no longer find the site's control channel). There is other data broadcast on the voice channels that most software won't decode, such as other active talkgroups at the site. This is done for priority scanning purposes, as the radio would otherwise have no way to know if a talkgroup set for priority becomes active while it's monitoring a transmission on the voice channel.wouldn't think a voice ch would have adj site info, but not it's own, interesting.

That's not how the vehicular repeaters work. At no time do they rebroadcast the site's voice channel(s).Thats what I thought,
Possibly just a patrol car driving past or close?
Wonder if they're encrypted? If you happened upon one..That's not how the vehicular repeaters work. At no time do they rebroadcast the site's voice channel(s).
They work as follows: The vehicular repeater is interfaced with the mobile radio. The user keys the portable which then transmits on another band (700 or 800, whatever they're using), that signal is received by the vehicular repeater, which then causes the mobile radio to key up on the voice channel input. That's how the signal gets from the portable into the trunked system. When a transmission is received by the mobile radio, it activates the vehicular repeater which in turn transmits that signal back out on the same 700 or 800 frequency the portable was transmitting on previously.
The encryption is handled by the portable. The repeater doesn't "know" what data it's rebroadcasting, it just passes it straight through to the mobile radio.Wonder if they're encrypted? If you happened upon one..
