I see that the "Municipal Public Safety Communications Consortium of Palm Beach County," has applied to the FCC to erect a digitally trunked simulcast radio system. Both license applications can be viewed at the FCC Web site:

And a great waste of taxpayer dollars and a loss of necessary coordination should something big happen. The people involved in this must have an ego the size of Mars. We have a GREAT radio system in Palm Beach Co. Gardens, Palm Beach and soon Jupiter and Juno will go to the sky is falling which has NOT been successfully deployed properly anywhere. Why? I guess some of the chiefs and their advisors have an agenda which will never be known.

Not for my users...it is for those who don't like Motorola I guess. I don't have any part of the construction or management of it. It is strictly a venture by a few municipalities, 2 to be exact with an additional 3 as tag along users strictly in the north end of the County.

Thunderbolt....the Open Sky applications you refer to are for a mutual communications center to be operated by Palm Beach Gardens to dispatch Jupiter, Juno Beach, and possibly North Palm PD.
