No, can't say as though I've ever used a Panny laptop, so my advice wouldn't really be of much validity. Sorry. Although I will say that if their laptops are anything like their headphones and allegedly "ruggedised" pocket CD players of late, you should save yourself some bread and get a truly rugged Toshiba Tecra. It's really hard to bust those. Personally, I'm really kind of skeptical about the longevity of anything with the "Panasonic" badge within the past 10 years or so.
