CENTENNIAL – A firefighter was injured as a house fire burned into the night on Thursday.

The three-alarm fire broke out in the 21000 block of East Davies Circle around 7:15 p.m. and firefighters say the home is a complete loss.

No one was inside of the home at the time and it is believed the owner is out of town.

It is unclear how badly the firefighter was injured.

There are no fire hydrants in the area, so fire crews had to bring in water tankers and create a make-shift pond.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
