There are a couple of huge glaring errors needing fixed with the Whistler PC Control Demo which is also needing fixed in the Android program. Firstly of course the folks at Whistler, and the 3rd party folks doing the Android software need to move beyond DEMO and get R done. But now for the first big bug that needs addressed: Neither of these programs transfer the TONES in use on conventional freqs from the scanner to the software. Why does the software even bother having this slot for this information if it can't even do the transfer of already available data? Second big issue: DMR IP Site Connected Conventional systems... Why is it that on the softwares, you keep getting weird TG/Color Code/Slot data when in use like this constant 256/256 NONSENSE? Is it because you went the cheap route of NOT paying Motorola the fees to be able to properly function on DMR? Or is it that your now so dysfunctional that you can't finish anything anymore?

What Android app works with the TRX scanners and the control demo?

Whistlers program are just a very basic demo of what can be done, it is not really ment to be a fully functional released program and they probably didn't ment it to be either or are supposed to make it into a final bug free release version.

I think they have the source code available to download so that anyone with programming skills can improve on it. Android Suit are probably using that source code and more or less just changed it to a more friendly user interface, and will then have the same bugs.

I don't log in too often but I do reply to emails.

Please note, as it says in many places, I am not at all connected with Whistler and the only thing I used is their protocol document to communicate with the scanner. Their demo and my software are totally separate, but both are locked to that protocol as that is all the scanner physically sends. I also have absolutely no way of modifying the actual scanner more than you do.

What exactly is not working? I can only display what the scanner sends the computer. If something is not correct, I can see what it is.
I would think if there were "glaring errors" at least someone who has been using my app for a few years would have said something.

My app is only a demo on the Android side until you purchase a license. It is not in "DEMO" mode and has "Got R Done" for over 5 years.

Not sure what you mean by "tones" or a slot to display it. I will say, if it is not on the protocol document, I cannot receive that information from the scanner, the scanner's not sending it.

I don't know what you mean on your other comment either, DMR IP? Again, if the scanner says something, that's all I have to go on.

There's nothing for me to pay to get the scanner to work better, besides I give the Windows part of my software free and already lose money on this software. If I were to do anything to the scanner, it would be to fix simulcast reception, as that has basically made it where I barely use my scanner or the software any more.

I just don't understand all your anger towards a software (the Windows TRX Android server side ) someone wrote and decided to share it with everyone for FREE. This is exactly the reason people don't share or give free software as much any more. (Yeah, your comments were rude and I took them as such)

Please download and take a look at their protocol documentation and make your own software program!
Just go to their downloads site, choose your scanner, and then download "Whistler Remote Control Protocol"

I use your program daily and have since its early creation and it works well for me.
I apricate your efforts in creating an alternative to the Whistler version.
