Sorry about that.

FCC licenses have been issued to a firm called "PDV Spectrum Holding Company" for multiple repeaters at multiple repeater sites from Ord Mountain to Conway Summit near Bridgeport in Mono County. The frequencies are in the range of 937-940 MHz. I've only noticed these licenses in the Inyo/Mono County, eastern Sierra region.

When I did a Google search using the firm's name the results were that a new push to talk network was being built. I just did a license search using the firm's name and found licenses issued in several states and becoming active in the last 8 months or so.

As the licenses issued locally are very new, I haven't tried listening to them. I figure that construction is going to be a few years down the line. I also don't know if my GRE 500/600 or any other scanners will be able to receive it. I figure it is probably digital and in a format that allows customers secure communications.

Has anyone else noticed licenses being issued to this firm? Is anyone else more familiar with this firm's plans than I?

Thanks for the information! I assume this network can't be scanned, it this correct? Although the database page shows it to be a Motorola DMR and I believe the newest Whistler scanners can track this system type. I'm not going to run out and buy a new scanner to listen to this network, but if I know of a local business using it I might. Often tow truck companies are good to listen to during a snowstorm.

If you've got a SDR, you can use DSD+ and Trunker together to scan/track the system. There's a couple of videos with instructions on how to do that.

In So Cal, I've heard them running a Con+ control channel for a few months on various frequencies, currently 937.025 with DCC 0, identified as net 435, site 76.

Please submit (or post) the information (freqs and location) for this site so it can be added to the database.
Thank you! This is interesting as pdv's website is not showing coverage in California.

PDV Spectrum Holding Company (FRN 0023948573) has 237 licenses in CA. I don't know how many are paper and how many are real.
