Hi.

You can hear Brampton action off this tower:
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?action=siteInfo&siteId=964

You can also hear it off the King City tower & maybe Balinafad
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?action=siteInfo&siteId=961

The talk group for most if not all of Bramptons action is Peel North
Mississauga is on Peel South
Look here
Missisauga CACC listing
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=861

I assume you are looking for patches to the Brampton hospital; most of the time you will hear calls going on one of the tac talkgroup on the above list, I personally dont follow action out your area but I think its on Tac 4 or 5.

Pcom is active with whatever the air ambulance call themselves these days as they communicate to the CACC's there.
I dont hear any activity on Ptac anymore though.

P-Tac still get's used in and around Ottawa still when they stray away from Fleetnet.

I say always keep the old conventional channels in the radio. You never know when they'll become active. Our old conventional still get's used in my area every so often.

VR's will always be active. As long as your within distance to hear them. All attendants carry portables and that's what the VR frequencies are. It's those portables they carry.
