I have found a new talkgroup of the Pensacola 800mhz system of 656. I am having trouble comming up with a full description for this talkgroup. What I do know is that it is an Airport talkgroup. I heard someone asking for a representative to come to baggage claims. I have also seen Pensacola PD unit numbers switching over to this talkgroup. If anyone has any further info or maybe can add this talkgroup to your radio and we can find out together what this is so it can be added to the database.
Thanks Tom

I've monitored this since you've posted and have not picked up anything. Are you?

I have been busy and have not had a chance to monitor it since I found it. That's why I tried to get it posted to the database so others can listen and we can indentify it together. I can tell you it seems like a not much used TG. I heard it around 4-5am. I will try to listen some more when I get a chance. But I can assure you it is there. I heard it and saw it using unitrunker.

edited to add I am monitoring now and will post if I hear anything.

FYI, unidentified talkgroups or channels are excluded from the database until they are identified. But as a user you can load up all the unknown TG in the Pensacola City Services Wiki page so others can keep there ears open.

I've also had hits on:
784
4976
3920
1360

Did not even think about using the wiki for that thanks for the tip. I have not even been listening 20 minutes and I got a hit. I could not make out what they were saying. I need a better outdoor antenna. Which is next on my list. Some sites are really scratchy for me. Here is a screenshot.

Well today I heard something. I recognize dispatch, it is Airport Ops.
The field unit sounded like maintenance to me, they asked Ops to notify PD to move their vehilce out front for the painters.

I won't be able to identify this because I just don't have the reception. I am currently using a homemade outdoor antenna tuned for 155/460. I am thinking about getting one of those 800mhz Radio Shack Rubber Ducks. Do you guys think I will be able to pickup this system any better with the 800mhz rubber duck? I hear good reviews, but I would think an outdoor antenna even though it is tuned for vhf/uhf would work better. Being that it is outdoor mounted to the eave of the house. it's maybe 10-15' from the ground. I do plan on putting up a discone and a RS Sputnik in the somewhat near future.
