Alright, this is like the 3 time or so that I can remember that I seem to have heard in Cambria County the following:

Photo ID only, suspended.

Does that mean their Photo ID is suspended or since their license is suspended, it's technically only a Photo ID?

I don't see if it's purely a Photo ID, how exactly you can suspend it. What are you suspending? Their right to ID themselves?

Almost sounds like perhaps they only are allowed to have a State issued ID card, and that their licenses is suspended.

Thus if they're caught driving, or with a license when they're not suppose to (DUS) perhaps the officer or agency can remove it form their possession.

Some states issue a Photo ID similar to the Driver's license (NJ is identical, just says "for Identification Only" on top.)

In those cases, the Subject's driving privileges are suspended, and the card is for Identification only.

Oh....

Oh i guess it's that their license is for ID purposes only.

I thought at first it meant that the person only had an ID. Though I think the officer in the case says run Pennsylvania ID number instead of OLN.

That's exactly right...their license is suspended and they have been issued a State ID only during their suspension. You can't really suspend an ID only card.
