I never knew that store was there. I'll have to stop by and check it out also. As far as programming, it is pretty simple to do it if you have a cable to connect to and program from your computer. I use the Uniden 996t which can listen in APCO-25 and I programmed my entire hometown in minutes using the free bcTool software. There is also freeware out there for other major scanner makes and models.

Scanner shop - HRO - Programming
The guys at HRO will throw in a local program for you for free.
Be advised it is not really quite perfect though.
I believe on PPD they have a tg or a cc wrong, I forget. They also miss some cool things every valley scanner enthusiast would want in their program.
For anyone using a PSR scanner I would be happy to share my WIN500 file (bin file should work with any of the main software programs).
Of course every scanner guy seems to have his own unique programming needs, but for a newbie intimidated by the complexity, maybe it would be helpful.
