Piatt County Incident

There was some interesting stuff to monitor last night on Starcom. Turned out to be a murder-suicide in Piatt County. Lots of radio traffic as units arrived, setup perimeter, etc... Heard a lot of different unit ID's including Paul 6 (in an aircraft ) and one I'm curious about. They referenced "X-Ray Sam 1" frequently, but I'm unsure who this was. Any ideas?

X- is the ISP District identifier for Dist 10, instead of confusing the units with 10 codes. The Sam designator, is normally a Safety officer according to the Wiki page.

Also note that Paul units are ISP plane units.

X-Ray-Sam-1 is Sgt. Bill Emery the Dist. 10 Safety Education Officer, he also often acts as a PIO for Dist. 10. You will often see him on the news or in the paper when the media is talking to State Police in this area.
