Hello all, I’m looking for some info for Piedmont Augusta (FKA University) I was there recently and saw UHF XPR3500 radios being used. I suspect they’re on cap plus. If anyone has info on the system I’d greatly appreciate it.

Both licenses include DMR emissions. The first has two repeater frequencies. License as conventional, but sometimes two licensed conventional frequencies still end up deployed as Cap+.

Would the MO frequencies be talk around channels?

451.775 sounds like a control channel on my conventional radio

That's the control channel for the Aiken site on Motorola's TRBOMAX CapMax system in SC. Remember that there can be overlapping FCC license assignments in a region. I'd start by focusing on the licensed repeater frequencies (FB2) if I were you; the licensed simplex frequencies (MO) can be in use as repeaters or simplex elsewhere by others, so you'd really need color code figured out in order to separate.

I believe i’ve found the control channel I have 452.875 CC 1 I’m not sure if it’s a single channel system or not, it appears to be unlicensed. If anyone local can dsd to confirm that would be appreciated
