My Dad asked me to find a scanner for my Mom..... she wants a scanner so she can hear whats going on when me and my dad go to fire calls. AND ontop of that, she wants a PINK one! How hard is it to crack the case on a scanner to take the plastic caseing off to paint it pink? I was thinking about just painting my Pro 135.

Uniden gave us NASCAR; maybe GRE can license a Hello Kitty model.

Pink Scanners and Minitor Pager Cases! Now that would make some money! Nobody steal my idea! im going to start a bussiness called "Make It Pink" =)

On a serious note, some paint will attack plastic so I would be very hesitant to paint a case.

guys on my truck forum use it to re-colr bumpers, wheels, grills etc. from what I hear, good stuff but one can tend to get carried away with "plasti-dipping" everything he can get his hands on
