Pirates tonight

I'm sure it's already started, but tonight should be hot for pirates. There are a couple of places to look for reports - the Extreme Shortwave Listening Facebook page and the well known HF Underground are but two. Don't ignore the possibility of using remote SDRs to hear them. The hunt, as they say, is on!

WDDR has been on for a long time tonight. They sent at least two SSTV images but I never set my R8600 up to decode anything darn it. Had a great signal too.

Yeah they were sending SSTV when I quit listening. I didn't have anything set up to decode either. I think someone has posted the received images on HFUnderground, though.

Just for future reference, MM-SSTV is a good and free SSTV package. There are even some for Macs and Unix, too, surprisingly.;...Mike
