Thank anyone for reading this.. I need to understand the basic tree structure for programming the BCT8 for trunk scanning. In my area, our system is using Motorola 1 system I believe. I have the manual but I might as well be reading how to build a rocket, as it is all "greek" to me. the scanner had been programmed when i got it but the guy didn't explain how he did it and it works fine except that i want to change some of the frequencies and i am scared to loose everything if i try messing with it.. Programming the basic scanner channels are no problem, just the trunking part is very confusing. If someone has a very simple explanation on how to do this (please don't say read the manual :>) I would be truly grateful. When I turn on the scanner I can see that it is scanning both regular and trunk and it works just fine. I just want to add some frequencies to the trunk part.Here is what the display looks like when it stops on a trunked channel:

I need to know what especially the #'s mean and how they relate to the programming.
