Police Call CD ROM

Was recently searching this site and saw a few threads about people asking for the last word on page 7 of Police Call and whatever and lots of people hounding them about copyright infringement or whatever. It may be true that these individuals copied a CD, but these discs WERE available without the book when they first came out, circa 1998 or 1999. I know this because I worked at Radio Shack and remember selling the books for $19.99 without any CD and wondering when a cd would come out, and the CD was available by itself for $29.99 around this time. I own a copy of that CD but do not use it anymore.

I used to see them in the local library, now I see them on eBay and Yahoo auction. I used to get them way back in the early 80's. They were usually out of date by the time they went to press, but had some good stuff in them. On a side note, Volume 4 or 5 had a Pozilla program in the database of the CDROM that would program the PRO-2052. This was cool when it came out. It would download the frequencies from the database into the 2052. This was before the Radioreference database came along. Did anyone else use them?

I still have the POLICE CALL CD-ROM 4.0, matter of fact I have it right here in front of me it is the fourth edition windows 95/98 /Me/NT 4.0/2000/XP this was copyright in 2002 by Hollins Radio Data and Pozilla Software Corp.
