Police charge codes

Is there a listing on here or elsewhere that list what the charge codes the police use
refer to. Quite often when they run a name the will say charged with 384 297 or whatever is there
a listing as to what charges these number refer to.......

This is the section number of the legislation under which the individual is charged, usually the Criminal Code unless otherwise specified. The official government version is at Criminal Code but an easier to use version is at CanLII - Criminal Code, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-46. So "253" would be "operation while impaired", "254" is "failure to refusal to comply with demand" (for a breath sample), "85" is "using firearm in commission of an offence", etc.
