Any plans on the drawing board for a portable version of the HP? UPMAN?

Um... I just unplug the charging cable and walk away..
Anything that can run on batteries is portable.. I dont see a battery door on the 996XT

Not quite what I meant but I see your point.
I guess I meant a more compact, HT - like version, but then I am thinking inside the
box instead of outside. The current version is like nothing we've ever seen in scanner design, so even if there
was something more like a "portable", I guess I shouldn't assume it will be like those we are used to...

The funny thing here is we all could not wait for the cell phone to get smaller and it did, then along came the Iphone as big as a brick. a must have, so I am told by everyone that I work with, so I guess smaller is not better all the time,.... them darn APPS.
