Portland 700 meg question

Is Portland now on the 700 meg system? The last time I was in Portland I put in the 700 meg frequencies but I did not hear anything on them. Are they now on 700 megs/,and if they are would I have to set it up for APO P25? I have the 996P2

They have completely switched over to the 700 p25 system. The old 800 analog system has been shut down. Since you have a 996p2 I would recommend using Freescan to program that system. You’ll need a subscription to Radiorefeference from which Freescan will pull the data, but it’s one of the best scanner programming apps available, and the app is free.
